Member Application | UI Redesign
Through my role as senior designer, I took the previous Member Application and redesigned it to better fit the members' needs. I improved layout, hierarchy and functionality throughout the app, resulting in a better user experience. Final design was prototyped using Adobe XD.

Before & After: Starting Page
The starting page design was improved by creating a stronger hierarchy and flow, letting the user’s eye read down the page to the “get started” button. A photo was added to help the application feel warmer and more welcoming. The new brand standards of right angles were also implemented into the new design.

The products page was improved by pulling the progress bar to 100% width, removing the gradients, and adding the right angles. The cards and loans products were added to this page as an additional tab, allowing the user to choose all products at the same time.

The Final Design
The final solution is a one-column application design that responds on both desktop and mobile. The overall design is clean and white, with accents of DCU primary and secondary green. The progress bar across the top has been updated to a thinner bar, replacing the boxes from the original application. Gradients on dropdowns in the original have been replaced with trending flat color. Try the high fidelity prototype below.
